Madurai Productivity Council Organizes on Productivity Mantras for Viksit Bharat 2047

The Madurai Productivity Council (MPC) conducted its monthly meeting for the years 2025-27, focusing on "Productivity Mantras for Viksit Bharat 2047". The event took place at the MPC premises, TB Road, Mahaboopalayam, Madurai.


The session, open to all stakeholders, aimed to promote productivity practices in line with India's vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047. Dr. C. Muthuraja, former Dean and Head of the Department of Economics at The American College, Madurai, and a member of the Indian Economic Association (IEA), was the guest speaker.


Attendees benefited from Dr. Muthuraja's insightful address on strategic productivity approaches necessary for national development, delivered in both English and Tamil. The meeting was presided over by Dr. M. Jegan Mohan (President), with K.M. Krishna Moorthy (Hon. Secretary) and D. Chandran (Treasurer) present.


Dr. C. Muthuraja concluded that realizing Viksit Bharat 2047 requires a collaborative effort from government, private sector, civil society, and citizens, with continued monitoring and adaptation to address emerging challenges. The initiative provides a long-term, integrated framework for policy formulation and resource allocation, transcending political cycles and striving for sustained progress.These insights collectively answered the audience’s queries, emphasizing that Viksit Bharat 2047 is not just a governmental program but a nationwide movement towards comprehensive and inclusive development.
