A high-level preview and interaction meeting for the National Arogya Expo & AYUSH Conclave 2026 was successfully held on December 16, 2025, in Chennai, jointly organized by the Ministry of AYUSH and the Heartfulness Institute, with support from NASYA, VIBA, and Dr. SHREEVARMA’s Wellness. The meeting brought together senior AYUSH physicians, integrated medicine experts, core committee members, and key stakeholders to set the vision for the national conclave scheduled from January 9–12, 2026, at the Heartfulness Institute, Babuji Memorial Ashram, Manapakkam, Chennai. The event underscored the importance of repositioning India’s traditional systems of medicine as a central solution to contemporary health challenges, emphasizing preventive healthcare, lifestyle correction, and mind–body harmony.

Speakers highlighted the complementary role of AYUSH systems—Ayurveda, Yoga, Siddha, Unani, Naturopathy, and Homoeopathy—in addressing physical, mental, and lifestyle-related health issues. Dr. SHREEVARMA emphasized integrating AYUSH into modern healthcare rather than viewing it as an alternative. Dr. Gowthaman discussed the global relevance of integrated medicine, Dr. Vijeyapal and Dr. Veera Cholan shared clinical experiences in preventive healthcare, and Dr. Jayarooba stressed the need to engage students, young doctors, and researchers in the AYUSH movement, highlighting the conclave as a platform for learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

The National Arogya Expo & AYUSH Conclave 2026 will feature academic sessions, panel discussions, research presentations, student programs, and forums for collaboration among doctors, researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. The Arogya Expo will showcase AYUSH products, medical technologies, wellness innovations, and industry advancements, promoting national and international partnerships. Participants also emphasized the critical role of the media in building public awareness and trust in AYUSH systems. The meeting concluded with a unified commitment from all attending doctors and committee members to actively support the conclave, marking the start of a national journey toward integrated, preventive, and sustainable healthcare rooted in India’s traditional wisdom.
