The Executive Committee meeting of the Erode District Sports Karate-Do Association was successfully held at a private restaurant in Erode under the leadership of Association President A.R. Sakthivel. The meeting was graced by the presence of Tamil Nadu Sports Karate-Do Association Treasurer Mahendran, with State Secretary Altaf Alam attending as the special guest.
During the session, the State Secretary provided detailed guidance on the future development activities of the Association and strategies to promote Karate across the district. A key resolution was passed to increase the incentive amount for students who excel in SGFI sports competitions and qualify for the next level. Additionally, new administrators and members of the Association were immediately elected.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Erode District Secretary Kumar, who honored the State Secretary by presenting a ceremonial sword as a mark of respect and recognition.
Following the meeting, a vibrant belt and certificate awarding ceremony was conducted for students who had successfully demonstrated their skills and passed the Karate examinations. The event was attended by a large number of administrators, trainers, and parents, making it a memorable occasion for the Association and its young athletes.
