The Isha Mahashivaratri festival will be celebrated through live telecast in 29 major temples across Kerala. Preparations for the event are being actively carried out by Isha volunteers in the state.

The grand Mahashivaratri celebrations will be held on February 15 at the Adiyogi Complex in the Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore, in the presence of Sadhguru. To enable devotees from Kerala to participate in the event, live streaming arrangements have been made in 29 temples across the state. Special arrangements have also been made in 12 of these temples to offer ‘Rudraksha Deeksha’ to participants.

The Mahashivaratri celebration held at the Adiyogi statue at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains in Coimbatore has grown into one of the largest spiritual events in the world to be viewed live. It is expected that over 14 crore (140 million) people will watch the event through more than 100 television channels and digital platforms in approximately 24 languages.

On the spiritually significant night of Mahashivaratri, Sadhguru will lead powerful meditations and the chanting of sacred mantras. In addition, traditional Indian music and dance performances will be आयोजित to help participants remain alert and receptive throughout the night.

Isha volunteers have invited devotees across Kerala to make use of this opportunity by gathering in large numbers at their nearest participating temples to directly experience the sacred energy of the night.
