Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, continues to strengthen its sustainability and social impact initiatives under its ESG+ framework Paathya. Marking its fourth year, IHCL organised the Bharat EkSaath Walkathon, a 3 km inclusive walk held across 14 countries and 200+ locations, bringing together employees, families, partners and communities. Funds raised support the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust, reinforcing IHCL’s commitment to social responsibility.

Under Paathya, IHCL has made significant progress towards its 2030 goals, including installing 84+ bottling plants, achieving 53% water recycling, sourcing 41% of energy from renewables, and enabling 83 skill centres that have trained over 42,000 underprivileged youth. The framework is built on six pillars—environmental stewardship, social responsibility, governance, heritage conservation, value chain transformation and sustainable growth—and has been recognised globally, including as a case study by the International Institute for Management Development.

IHCL’s diverse portfolio blends Indian hospitality with global standards through brands such as Taj Hotels, Claridges Collection, Brij Hotels, Atmantan Wellness Centre, SeleQtions, Gateway Hotels, Vivanta Hotels, Tree of Life Resorts and Ginger Hotels.
