This segment featured specialized, short-duration stretching and breathing techniques specifically tailored for corporate desk workers, dock labourers, and operational staff to practice right at their workstations, boosting overall workplace productivity and mental clarity.
Expanding the reach of the celebration to the younger generation, a vibrant contingent of students and teachers from the Chennai Port and Dock Educational Trust School actively participated in the celebrations, on 19th June 2026.
The celebrations concluded with a deep reflection on the essence of Yoga-which translates to the union of mind, body, and consciousness. This year's global celebrations beautifully aligned with the official theme, "Yoga for Healthy Aging." As global life expectancy rises, the practice of yoga serves as an exceptional, non-invasive tool for preventive healthcare. It fosters physical mobility, mental resilience, and emotional stability, allowing individuals to age gracefully, maintain their independence, and enjoy a high quality of life well into their senior years.
