A campus recruitment drive for final-year students was recently organized by the Training and Placement Department of Nandha Polytechnic College and Nandha Arts and Science College. The recruitment was conducted in association with Brakes India, a subsidiary of the globally renowned WABCO group involved in manufacturing braking systems for motor vehicles.
The recruitment programme was held under the leadership of Shri Nandha Educational Trust Chairman V. Shanmugan. The event was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by K. Ram Prasad, Human Resources Manager of Brakes India. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Training and Placement Coordinator K.V. Prabhu.
Subsequently, G. Mohankumar, Principal of Nandha Polytechnic College, and Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of Nandha Arts and Science College, addressed the students and extended their best wishes for success in the recruitment process.
Speaking on the occasion, HR Manager K. Ram Prasad stated that Brakes India has been conducting campus recruitment continuously at the institution for the past 14 years. He attributed this long-standing association to the enthusiasm, dedication, and strong work ethic demonstrated by the students of the institution.
He further explained that students selected through the recruitment process would undergo a three-year training programme and receive annual stipends during the training period. He proudly noted that several outstanding trainees selected from the institution are currently employed in automobile manufacturing industries in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan.
He emphasized that the company seeks only highly talented candidates and that a rigorous selection process would be conducted to identify suitable students. Those who successfully clear the tests will participate in personal interviews and receive offer letters confirming their employment opportunities.
More than 420 students from Nandha Polytechnic College and Nandha Arts and Science College participated in the campus recruitment drive and benefited from the opportunity.
Members of Shri Nandha Educational Trust, including Bhanumathi Shanmugan, Joint Managing Trustees S. Nandakumar Pradeep and S. Thirumoorthy, along with A.K. Velusamy, Administrative Officer of Nandha Technical Campus, congratulated the faculty members of the Training and Placement Department for successfully organizing the event.
