Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has introduced an innovative out-of-home (OOH) activation at Chennai Central Railway Station, transforming a busy public space into a live demonstration of its Fluido Wave BLDC ceiling fan's smart airflow technology.
The large-scale kinetic installation showcases the fan's precision airflow control by recreating the functionality of the Crompton Senze App. As the automated app slider moves, the motorised fan adjusts its speed in real time, enabling commuters to visually experience how the Fluido Wave BLDC delivers personalised airflow beyond conventional preset speed levels.
The activation is part of Crompton's ongoing summer campaign and has been launched in Chennai, one of the brand's key focus markets. By presenting the product feature through an engaging live installation, the company aims to make smart home technology more accessible and easier for consumers to understand.
Commenting on the initiative, Tanmay Prusty, Chief Marketing Officer, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., said, "At Crompton, we believe innovation is best understood when consumers can experience it firsthand. This installation brings our technology to life, allowing people to see how our Fluido Wave BLDC fan offers precise airflow control while reinforcing our commitment to creating meaningful consumer experiences."
Conceptualised by Tribes Communication, the installation combines synchronised motorised fan movement, an automated app interface, programmable lighting and illuminated Crompton branding to create a visually engaging experience. Now live at Chennai Central Railway Station, the activation highlights Crompton's focus on innovation, technology and experiential marketing to connect with consumers in an impactful way.
