Former Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party president Annamalai, who was removed from his position and was not assigned any national responsibility as expected, had remained away from active politics for a short period. Later, he launched the “We the Leaders” movement, which has been steadily attracting a large number of members. Annamalai has now decided to transform this initiative into a political movement.
The first conference of “We the Leaders” was organized in Pollachi, Coimbatore district, under the banner of an anti-addiction campaign aimed at creating awareness among the youth. The event witnessed participation from thousands of people across Tamil Nadu.
From Erode district, members of the “We the Leaders” organization, led by Agni Rajesh along with Ravichandran and many others, traveled in vehicles to Pollachi and actively took part in the conference.
