Sonalika Tractors, India's leading tractor export brand, has achieved a major milestone by rolling out its 20 lakhth tractor from its integrated manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The achievement coincides with the company's 30-year journey of developing farmer-focused tractor solutions through advanced engineering and innovation.
Established in 1996, Sonalika began by producing just two tractors a day. Over the years, the company has transformed Hoshiarpur into a global manufacturing hub and now rolls out a new tractor every two minutes. The tractors cater to farmers across India, the world's largest tractor market, while also serving export markets in more than 150 countries.
The company said its manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced robotics and automation systems, while every tractor undergoes extensive testing to ensure high standards of quality, durability and performance. Sonalika also manufactures all major tractor components in-house, reflecting its integrated production capabilities.
Vice Chairman Dr. Amrit Sagar Mittal described the milestone as a defining moment in the company's history, stating that the achievement reflects India's manufacturing excellence and the trust reposed by millions of farmers over the past three decades.
Managing Director Dr. Deepak Mittal said the milestone highlights the strength of Indian engineering and the company's expanding global presence. Joint Managing Director Raman Mittal reaffirmed Sonalika's commitment to innovation, in-house manufacturing and empowering farmers worldwide through reliable, high-performance tractors.
