Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the global leader in lighting, has successfully completed its latest Signify Jagmag Pathshala CSR project, upgrading lighting and electrical infrastructure across 56 Government Residential Tribal Welfare Schools in Parvathipuram Manyam district, Andhra Pradesh. Implemented in partnership with Jana Kalyana Samakhya (JKS) and the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), the initiative has benefited more than 18,200 tribal children.

The project installed energy-efficient ceiling fans, tube lights, and outdoor lighting systems, creating brighter, better-ventilated, and safer learning spaces. The improved infrastructure has enhanced classroom visibility, student well-being, attendance, participation in academics and sports, while strengthened outdoor lighting has improved campus safety for students and staff.

Commenting on the initiative, Nikhil Gupta, Head of Strategy & Marketing, Signify, Greater India, said every child deserves a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment. He added that the project reflects Signify's commitment to using innovation to improve education, community well-being, and create brighter, safer, and more inclusive communities through sustainable lighting solutions.
