A gold bracelet worth approximately ₹2 lakh was accidentally lost in the water while bathing at Kumbhavurutty Falls, Achankovil, Kerala. The bracelet fell into a deep area with a strong water current, making the chances of recovering it seem very unlikely.
After an hour-long search, the Kerala Forest & Wildlife team was informed. Manikandan and his team immediately took action and conducted a thorough search of the area after the tourists had left. Despite the depth and strong water flow, they successfully located and recovered the bracelet within a short time.
The recovered bracelet was safely handed over to its rightful owner, Kaliappan from Tenkasi District.
Heartfelt thanks to Manikandan and the Kerala Forest & Wildlife team for their prompt action, dedication, honesty and exemplary service. Their commitment and sense of responsibility are truly commendable.
