PlatinumRx, an affordable chronic medication platform, is helping young professionals manage their parents’ monthly medicines from different cities across India. The platform allows users to order quality-assured medicines remotely and have them delivered directly to their parents’ homes. It also offers affordable alternatives with the same salt composition, helping families potentially save up to 60% on recurring medicine expenses.
PlatinumRx has helped over 10 lakh users collectively save more than ₹137 crore on medicines and currently delivers across 19,000+ PIN codes in India. The platform is particularly useful for professionals living away from their parents, helping them manage regular medicines for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol and cardiac ailments without being physically present.
Ashutosh Pandey, Co-founder, PlatinumRx, said that many young professionals manage their parents’ healthcare responsibilities from another city and want medicines to be reliable, affordable and delivered on time. Founded in 2023 by IIT and IIM alumni Ashutosh Pandey and Piyush Kumar, PlatinumRx works with established pharmaceutical manufacturers and currently operates nine warehouses across India. Users are advised to consult their doctor before switching from a prescribed medicine to an alternative.
