India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (India ITME) 2026, one of the major global platforms for textile machinery and engineering, is set to be held from December 4 to 9 at the India Expo Mart and Mart (IEML), Greater Noida. The exhibition is expected to strengthen India’s position as a global hub for textile manufacturing, engineering, innovation and technology-driven production. Salem textile manufacturers have been invited to participate in the event.
Organised by the India ITME Society, the 12th edition of the exhibition will be the largest in the series, covering around 2.40 lakh square metres across 18 exhibition halls. More than 1,800 exhibitors from over 95 countries are expected to participate, while the event is projected to attract more than 1.5 lakh visitors. The exhibition will showcase technologies and solutions covering the entire textile value chain, from fibre, yarn and fabric to finished products and technical textiles.
With the theme “ITME NEXT”, the exhibition is aligned with national initiatives including Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, PM MITRA Parks and the National Technical Textiles Mission. The organisers said the event reflects India’s transition from being a major textile producer to becoming a global leader in textile engineering, innovation and technology-enabled manufacturing.
Sustainability, circular economy practices and resource efficiency will be among the major areas of focus. The exhibition will also highlight automation, artificial intelligence, advanced machinery, real-time data analysis, predictive maintenance and supply-chain transparency. These technologies are expected to help manufacturers improve productivity, reduce environmental impact and strengthen global competitiveness.
The event will feature textile machinery, accessories, components, software solutions and services, with a strong emphasis on digitalisation, automation and Industry 4.0. It will also provide opportunities for technology transfer, international partnerships, business expansion and knowledge sharing through seminars, panel discussions and industry interactions.
A key component will be the International Technical Conference, Textile Horizons 2026, where global experts, researchers and technology leaders will discuss the future of textile manufacturing, sustainability, innovation, automation, digitalisation and emerging technologies. A CEO Conclave will bring together industry leaders, policymakers and technology experts to discuss advanced materials, smart machinery and strategic trade alliances.
The exhibition will additionally offer structured B2B meetings, product launches, live machine demonstrations and networking opportunities. Visitors will be able to assess machinery performance, productivity, energy efficiency, automation features and potential return on investment. The ITME Technical Awards will recognise innovation and excellence in textile technology and engineering.
