Kavundampalayam MLA Kanimozhi Santhosh urged the Tamil Nadu government in the Legislative Assembly to establish a new Government Arts College in the constituency to fulfil the long-standing demand of students in the area.
A large number of students in the Kavundampalayam constituency aspire to pursue higher education, making it essential to provide accessible higher education facilities closer to their homes. The establishment of a Government Arts College would reduce the difficulties faced by students who have to travel long distances and improve access to higher education.
The proposed college would also expand educational opportunities and open up new avenues for the future of students in the constituency. It would particularly benefit students from economically weaker sections and enable them to pursue higher education without facing financial and logistical difficulties.
“Immediate steps should be taken to establish a new Government Arts College in Kavundampalayam constituency to improve access to higher education and pave the way for social progress,” MLA Kanimozhi Santhosh stressed.
She further urged the government to expedite the process of establishing the Government Arts College, which has been a long-standing demand of students in the Kavundampalayam constituency.
