SHARP (SHApe & shaRPen Young Minds), established by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce & Industry, conducted its Orientation Programme 2026–27 on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Hatsun Hall, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce, Kamarajar Salai, Madurai.
The programme was organised to connect students, faculty members and parents with future technologies, industry-relevant skills and career opportunities, helping young minds prepare for the changing demands of the professional world.
More than 500 students from various educational institutions participated in the programme and benefited from the sessions and interactions with industry leaders.
Mr. Ananthan Ayyasamy, Founder & CEO, Tensemi, was the Chief Guest and shared valuable insights on emerging technologies, skill development and future career opportunities. His vision of creating one lakh high-tech jobs in Tenkasi by 2032 was also highlighted.
Mr. J.K. Muthu, Chairman, DigitAll, and Mr. G. Rajamurthy, Chairman, Export Promotion Centre, motivated the students through their inspiring words and encouraged them to develop industry-relevant skills, embrace new technologies and pursue their career goals with confidence.
Dr. N. Jegatheesan, President, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. M. Senthilkumar, Advisor, SHARP and CEO & Co-Founder, Savemom, also participated in the programme and addressed the gathering.
The programme was coordinated by the SHARP office-bearers, including Mrs. Kaverikani, Chairman; Mr. U. Sankar Ganesh, Vice Chairman; Mrs. D. Jeseela Francis, Secretary; and Mr. E. Palanichamy, Treasurer.
The orientation programme provided students with valuable exposure to technological advancements, industry expectations, skill requirements and emerging career pathways. The programme concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from more than 500 students representing various institutions.
