Jasleen Kohli, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Go Digit General Insurance Limited, has been named Global Fintech Person of the Year (Female) at the Global Fintech Awards 2026, held as part of the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026 in Mumbai.
The recognition was presented under the Special FinTech Achievements category, honouring individuals and organisations contributing to innovation and transformation in financial services.
Kohli has played a key role in Digit Insurance’s technology-led growth, with the company using digital platforms and AI/ML to simplify insurance, improve accessibility and enhance customer experience. Since its inception, Digit has served more than 8.4 crore customers and recorded over ₹10,000 crore in Gross Written Premium (GWP) in FY 2025-26.
Under Kohli’s leadership, Digit transitioned from a unicorn to a publicly listed company within eight years of operations. The company has also continued to introduce technology-driven initiatives across claims, underwriting and customer engagement.

The fifth edition of the Global Fintech Awards featured 500+ nominations from 400+ participating brands, with winners recognised across 26 categories and five major segments. The awards followed an independent evaluation process involving a seven-member special jury and 34 jurors representing India's financial services and fintech ecosystem.
