Paisabazaar has launched Mutual Funds on its platform, expanding its financial marketplace beyond credit into savings and investments. The move follows its launch of Bonds and Fixed Deposits last year, while credit continues to remain a key part of its business strategy.
A key feature of the launch is Daily SIP, which allows customers to invest smaller amounts on a daily basis instead of committing to a monthly investment. The offering is aimed at making investing more accessible to people with irregular income patterns, including self-employed individuals, small business owners, shopkeepers and gig workers.
Santosh Agarwal, CEO, Paisabazaar, said the Mutual Funds launch is another step towards building a broader financial marketplace covering credit, savings, investments and everyday financial services. Tushar Gupta, Head – Mutual Funds, Paisabazaar, said Daily SIPs are designed to make investing more compatible with different income patterns and encourage investment habits among underserved consumers.
