House of Jolly is stepping up its South India expansion, placing Chennai at the centre of its strategy to build a stronger regional presence in the architectural hardware market. The initiative includes a dedicated sales organisation, state-level leadership and teams across key cities to strengthen engagement with dealers, architects, designers and project stakeholders.
Established in 1944 by Pt. Sh. Jeetendra Nath Bhargava, House of Jolly has evolved from a precision-hinge pioneer into a comprehensive architectural hardware company. Known for its strong North Indian presence, the company has also served Kerala and Tamil Nadu through wholesale distribution.
“Chennai has always been an extremely important market for us. We now want to approach it with greater consistency and commitment through a dedicated sales organisation,” said Rajesh Bhargava, Chairman, House of Jolly. He added that the company aims to build recognition for its legacy, engineering capabilities and comprehensive product range.
Its offerings span concealed hinges, premium mortise handles, mechanical and digital locks, wardrobe and kitchen hardware, and fittings for residential, commercial and hospitality applications. Its portfolio has also expanded through its association with and acquisition of international design-led brands Enrico Cassina and Omporro.
As South India experiences growth in residential construction, luxury housing, hospitality and high-end interiors, House of Jolly sees opportunities in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi and other urban centres.
The company’s strengthened regional infrastructure aims to improve dealer support, market servicing and access to its products while advancing its national growth ambitions and maintaining its longstanding commitment to engineering excellence, material quality, reliability and lasting relationships.
