Jaipur Rugs, a leading Indian handcrafted rug and carpet brand, has announced its Annual Sale 2026, featuring approximately 10,000 rugs across diverse designs, craftsmanship and price ranges, with discounts of up to 60 per cent. This year, the sale will also support girls in rural India through a Bicycle Fund aimed at making access to education easier.
As part of the initiative, a percentage of sales proceeds will contribute towards providing bicycles to girls in rural communities who walk long distances to reach school. The initiative seeks to reduce travel time and physical barriers, improve safety and support girls in continuing their education.
Yogesh Chaudhary, Managing Director of Jaipur Rugs, said that even a basic facility such as a bicycle could make a significant difference in rural children's access to education. He noted that the initiative reflects the company's belief in responsible commerce, where customer purchases can create value beyond individual households and contribute to community development.
The 2026 sale brings together a wide selection of handmade rugs, including the Manchaha collection, hand-knotted carpets, hand-tufted carpets, flat-weave rugs and Dhurries. It also features designer-led collections such as Brahmand, Jaanwar, Kavi and Concoction, showcasing varied artistic styles, materials and contemporary interpretations of Indian craftsmanship.
The Manchaha collection is known for allowing artisans to express their individual creativity directly through their weaving. The broader selection combines traditional techniques with contemporary designs, offering options for design-conscious customers as well as first-time buyers seeking handmade carpets.
Jaipur Rugs has a longstanding association with rural communities through its decentralised artisan network, which supports traditional craftsmanship and livelihoods. The Bicycle Fund initiative extends this community-focused approach by directing a portion of the sale's commercial activity towards an educational need.
The company said the annual sale is intended not only as a shopping opportunity but also as a platform for discovering the artistic and cultural value of handmade rugs. The collection highlights the role of rugs as functional home furnishings as well as expressions of art, heritage and human creativity.
Through the 2026 edition, Jaipur Rugs aims to connect craftsmanship and design with a broader social purpose, demonstrating how a consumer purchase can contribute to opportunities for girls beyond the home.
