Central Bureau of Communication Field Office Tiruchirapalli under Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry organized Swachta Hi Sewa pledge and cleanliness drive at Govt Arts and Science College Navalurkutapattu.
Govt Arts and Science college Navalurkutapattu Principal Dr J Lalitha presided over the function. Field Publicity Officer Tiruchirapalli Mr. K Devi Padmanabhan, Govt Arts and Science College Navalur Kutapattu NSS Programme Officer Dr R Gunasundari, FPA Trichy Mr. S Arunkumar administered the Swachatha Hi Sewa pledge to students. NSS students from the college took the pledge and participated in Swachtaha cleanliness drive. College premises were cleaned and plastic garbage removed. Saplings were watered by students as part of environment friendly activity.
Swachatha Hi Sewa is being celebrated from September 15 to October 2 Mahatma Gandhiji birthday. As part of Swachatha Hi Sewa pledges are being taken to maintain Swachatha and cleanliness drive organized.
Pamphlets and notices on Swachatha Abhiyan were distributed to students.
