Nehru Yuva Kendra Tiruchirapalli organized Yuva Utsav and Science Mela at Thanthai Periyar Govt Arts and Science College Trichy on December 13.
Nehru Yuva Kendra Trichy District Youth Officer Smt S Sruthi welcomed. She said that Yuva Utsav and Science Mela is being organised to encourage youth to show their skills. She said various competitions were organized for youth and prizes and certificates are being given.
Dr K Vasudevan Principal Thanthai Periyar Govt Arts and Science College in his presidential speech urged the youth to be part of nation building.
Shri K Devi Padmanabhan Assistant Director Central Bureau of Communication Field Office Tiruchirapalli in his felicitation address spoke about role of youth in progress of nation. He pointed out Independence Day speech of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who stressed on Panch Pran resolves for progress of nation. He urged youth to follow the Panch Pran resolves of Developed India, removing trace of colonial mindset, remembering legacy, maintaining unity and fulfilling duties as a citizen. He pointed out the vision of Prime Minister to make India developed nation by 2047. He said that youth play an important role in making India developed nation. India is largest democratic republic in the world and has developed into powerful global nation.

Central Bureau of Communication Field Office Tiruchirapalli set up a stall as part of the Yuva Utsav in the venue. FPA Trichy Shri S Arunkumar received shield from District Youth officer for setting up awareness stall. Various competitions for youth were held as part of Yuva Utsav on several themes like scientific innovations, poetry, painting, debates, folk dance. Trophies, cash prize and certificates were given to winners of various competitions held in Trichy as part of Yuva Utsav.
