Bangalore Airport Services Limited (BASL), a subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL), has unveiled O’Vetra, its newest lounge at Tiruchirappalli International Airport.
Designed to blend comfort, culture, and convenience, O’Vetra offers travellers an elevated experience inspired by Tiruchirappalli’s rich heritage. The lounge features regional design elements such as a Kolam-inspired reception wall, blue flooring symbolizing the Kaveri River, and terracotta textures reflecting the Rock Fort Temple. Spanning 450 sqm in the domestic terminal and 620 sqm in the international, the lounge accommodates 107 and 150 guests respectively, with seating optimized for both individuals and groups.
BASL CEO George Kuruvilla emphasized that O’Vetra represents a new chapter in expanding their hospitality beyond Bengaluru, creating spaces that reflect local culture while delivering premium service. Guests can enjoy live culinary stations, diverse buffet spreads, and a rotating menu of locally sourced dishes catering to various dietary needs. The lounge also offers PRM-compliant restrooms, shower facilities for international travellers, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
O’Vetra marks BASL’s commitment to setting new standards in airport hospitality by combining regional identity with global excellence. Travellers can also avail Meet & Greet and porter services at Tiruchirappalli Airport, enhancing convenience.
