The Government of Tamil Nadu organized the Agri-Business Expo 2025 on 27th & 28th September 2025 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai.
The Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology (COXBIT) actively participated in the Expo and showcased its advanced facilities, along with innovative products developed by its cabin/knowledge space users. The Expo provided a strategic platform for startups and entrepreneurs to connect with support networks, foster collaborations, and transform research outcomes into scalable ventures through access to funding, mentorship, development support, and market linkages.
COXBIT supported its cabin space users — M/s. Aviva Organics, M/s. Thennaivanam, M/s. Sakthi Fertilizer Company, M/s. Meridian Machine Works, M/s. Ziwwit Sustainable Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and M/s. CropTwin Agro Tech Pvt. Ltd. — in showcasing their innovations and products to farmers, the public, and key stakeholders. The event drew significant attention from startups and innovators, with many expressing interests in collaborating with COXBIT for future ventures.
Adding to the occasion, the Registrar and Acting Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Dr. R. Thamizh Vendan and Dr. N. Senthil, Director, COXBIT, TNAU visited the Expo and encouraged the COXBIT team and participating startups, appreciating their contributions toward strengthening the agri-business ecosystem of Tamil Nadu.
