Applications for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2026 close on 30 November 2025. The exam will be conducted twice—20 December 2025 (Saturday) and 28 December 2025 (Sunday)—with the best score considered. Held across 68 cities, SLAT is a computer-based test of 60 questions in 60 minutes, covering Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge, with no negative marking. Admit cards will be released on 11 December for SLAT 01 and 18 December 2025 for SLAT 02, and results will be declared on 15 January 2026.
Conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SLAT is the gateway to premier integrated law programmes offered by Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur. Courses include B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., and the newly launched B.Com LL.B. (Hons.) at SLS Pune. Candidates must have passed Class XII with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Registration requires filling in details on slat-test.org, completing OTP verification, and paying INR 2250 per test, plus INR 1000 per programme.
Importantly, paying only the SLAT test fee does not guarantee programme shortlisting—programme registration fees are mandatory. After successful registration, candidates receive their SLAT ID and password. The four Symbiosis Law Schools collectively offer strong academic foundations: SLS Pune known for top NIRF rankings and global recognition, SLS Noida for Delhi-NCR exposure, SLS Hyderabad for tech-integrated learning, and SLS Nagpur for socially driven legal education.
