Nippon Paint India has collaborated with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to train and nurture young talent in Painting & Decorating, supporting the state’s initiative to prepare candidates for national-level skill competitions.
Nippon Paint India has collaborated with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to train and nurture young talent in Painting & Decorating, supporting the state’s initiative to prepare candidates for national-level skill competitions.
Under this partnership, Nippon Paint India successfully organized Level 2 and Level 3 skill competitions, followed by a one-week intensive training programme at its Salem Training Centre for five shortlisted candidates. The training focused on enhancing technical skills, application techniques, and industry best practices, equipping participants to compete at the national stage.
The collaboration was formally recognized during the TN Skills 2025 Felicitation Ceremony on 07 January 2026 at Valluvar Kottam, Chennai. The event was graced by the Honourable Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, senior state officials, representatives from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), industry partners, and academic institutions. Mr. Mark Titus, President – Decorative Business, Nippon Paint India, received the Letter of Engagement (LoE) from the Deputy Chief Minister, officially marking the company’s role in advancing skill development initiatives in the state.
Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Titus said, “At Nippon Paint India, we are committed to building a future-ready workforce. Our collaboration with TNSDC empowers young talent with industry-relevant skills and creates meaningful career opportunities in painting and decorative coatings.”
