Lexus India has launched the all-new Lexus ES500e in India, marking its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in the country. First unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the ES500e reflects Lexus’s “Discover” philosophy, focusing on delivering better products, services, and lifestyle experiences. The ES has been a globally acclaimed model since its debut, known for its comfort, quietness, and refined driving experience.
Speaking at the launch, Kohei Chiashi highlighted that the ES500e is designed for customers seeking a balance of performance, comfort, and safety. Built on the TNGA GA-K platform, the electric sedan offers enhanced ride quality, structural rigidity, and a low center of gravity, ensuring superior handling and stability. The model also features advanced technologies such as a 14-inch multimedia display, responsive hidden switches, and next-generation Lexus Safety System+.
Hikaru Ikeuchi stated that the ES500e represents Lexus’s vision for sustainable luxury mobility in India. Emphasizing a multi-pathway approach to electrification, he noted that the brand remains committed to combining environmental responsibility with premium comfort and innovation. Bookings for the ES500e are now open across Lexus Guest Experience Centres in India.
