The SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter for the Erode region has been functioning at Nandha Engineering College, Erode, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Through this centre, during the period from July to December of the previous year, more than 1,800 students and faculty members enrolled in and completed various online courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). In the semester-end examinations, both students and faculty members secured high scores and successfully completed the courses with excellent grades, achieving a remarkable academic milestone.
In recognition of providing an excellent learning environment and efficiently operating the SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter for the Erode region, Nandha Engineering College was honoured with the prestigious 'A' Grade Certification at an appreciation ceremony organised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, held at the IIT Madras campus.
The Chairman of Sri Nandha Educational Trust, V. Shanmugan, congratulated the college Principal, Dr. U.S. Raghupathi, and the Local Chapter Coordinator and Dean, Dr. E.K. Mohanraj, for their dedicated efforts in securing this recognition. It is noteworthy that IIT Madras has been conferring the 'A' Grade Certification on the college continuously for the past three years.
The members of Sri Nandha Educational Trust, Bhanumathi Shanmugan, Secretary S. Nandakumar Pradeep, Secretary of Nandha Educational Institutions S. Thirumoorthy, and Administrative Officer of Nandha Technology Campus A.K. Velusamy also congratulated and encouraged the faculty members and students whose contributions helped the institution earn the prestigious 'A' Grade Certification.
