Rotary Club of Erode Emerald Installs New Office Bearers for 2026–27

The Rotary Club of Erode Emerald installed its new team of office bearers for the Rotary year 2026–27 at a well-attended ceremony in Erode, with Chief Guest Rtn. PDG T. Shanmugasundara of RI District 2982 presiding over the occasion.  


Rtn. R. Vipul Chandaliya formally assumed office as President of the club. Rtn. PHF N. P. Shankar Mahadevan took charge as Secretary, while Rtn. MD A. P. Muruga Raajan was appointed Treasurer.  


In his inaugural address, the new President reaffirmed the club’s commitment to Rotary’s guiding motto, “Service Above Self.” He emphasized the importance of implementing impactful projects in education, healthcare, environmental protection, youth development, and community welfare.  


The ceremony also honored the valuable contributions of past presidents, including Rtn. MPHF PP Dr. K. K. M. Kesavan, Rtn. MPHF PP A. S. Iyer, Rtn. MPHF PP Er. G. Kumaresan, Rtn. MPHF PP M. Prakash, Rtn. MPHF PP Aswath Rajasekar, Rtn. PHF PP Ponniah Christopher, Rtn. MD PP A. P. Muruga Raajan, Rtn. MPHF PP P. Rajendran, Rtn. PHF PP Antony Christopher, Rtn. MPHF PP Prabhu, and Rtn. S. Barni, whose leadership has significantly advanced the club’s growth and service activities.
