Kia India has introduced a Lifetime High Voltage (HV) Battery Warranty for the Carens Clavis EV, reinforcing customer confidence and supporting wider adoption of electric mobility. Effective 1 August 2026, the warranty offers 15 years of unlimited-kilometre coverage to the first owner of new Carens Clavis EVs retailed from this date.
Eligible existing customers who purchased their Carens Clavis EV before 1 August 2026 can also opt to extend their existing 8-year/1,60,000-km HV Battery Warranty to 15 years with unlimited kilometres.

The new warranty complements Kia India’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme, which helps reduce the upfront cost of EV ownership through separate financing of the vehicle and battery.
Kia also supports Carens Clavis EV customers through K-Charge, accessible via the MyKia app and Kia India website. The platform integrates more than 20,300 charging points from 23 leading charge point operators. Additionally, Kia has 129+ dealerships with DC fast chargers and 275+ EV-ready workshops, supported by over 900 customer touchpoints across 400 cities.
Since its launch, the made-in-India Carens Clavis EV has received an encouraging customer response.
