Thanthai Periyar Government Headquarters Hospital, Erode, is set to receive a major boost to its healthcare infrastructure with the inauguration of advanced medical equipment on 18th September 2026. The initiative is supported under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of SBI Funds Management Limited (SBIFML) and facilitated by Rotary Club of Madras, Rotary International District 3234.
The initiative will equip the hospital with essential medical devices, including Defibrillator, Multipara Monitor, C-Arm Compatible OT Table, Vertical Autoclave, Anaesthesia Workstation, Neo Diathermy, Electrocardiogram (ECG), Fetal Monitor, Electronic Breast Pump and Hysteroscopy.
These additions will support critical diagnostic, monitoring, surgical and emergency care services for patients across Erode and neighbouring regions.
SBI Funds Management Limited’s CSR Commitment: The initiative reflects SBIFML commitment to supporting impactful healthcare interventions and strengthening public healthcare institutions.
Rotary’s Role and Collaboration: The Rotary Club of Madras, in partnership with Rotary International District 3234, facilitated the project by aligning CSR support with the medical infrastructure needs identified by the hospital. The initiative was enabled through the efforts of: Rtn. Nikhil Raj, Rtn. Ganesh Ananthakrishnan, Rtn. Krishnamurthy Vijayan, Rtn. Arjun Ananth, Rtn. Ravi Sundaresan, District Governor Nominee, RI Dist 3234, played a key role in coordinating among the various stakeholders and supporting the smooth execution of the initiative.
The inauguration was graced by senior Rotary leaders, including, Rtn. MD. K. Boopathi – District Governor, Rtn. K. K. Vijayachandhran – District Governor Elect, Rtn. P. M. Sivashankaran – Past District Governor, Rtn. AKS. Vinod Saraogi – Immediate Past District Governor.
The initiative represents a meaningful partnership between SBI Funds Management Limited, Rotary Club of Madras and Thanthai Periyar Government Headquarters Hospital, Erode.
