Kongu Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Erode, will organise a six-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI-Embedded Precision Farming in AgriTech and Digital Farming Solutions” from August 25th to 30th.
The programme, organised by the Department of Management, has received funding support of ₹3.5 lakh from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy. Faculty members and research scholars from higher education institutions across Tamil Nadu and other States are expected to participate. Eminent trainers, including experts from reputed companies and universities will handle the sessions.
The official AICTE order sanctioning the grant was handed over bythe Correspondent Thiru. P.D. Thangaveland the Principal Dr.H. Vasudevan. The event is being coordinated by Dr.R. Vijayapriya, Director M.B.A, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration (Computer Applications), along with the department faculties. The Correspondent addressed that only a selected number of higher education institutions across Tamil Nadu had received AICTE’s support for such FDPs and added that it was a matter of pride that KASC was among them.
